Smart Lock

The design draws inspiration from the concept of “security as part of the living space.” Instead of presenting the door lock as a purely utilitarian device, the design team reimagined it as an integral element of interior design. The black-and-gold palette reflects a blend of modern luxury and technological precision, allowing the product to harmonize with a wide range of interior styles, including modern minimalism, contemporary luxury, and neo-Chinese aesthetics.
The flowing form language further softens the mechanical nature of traditional locks, transforming the device into an elegant architectural detail at the entrance of the home.
A defining feature of the design is the contrast between the matte black panel and the metallic gold frame. The subtle texture of the black surface absorbs light, while the gold accents provide a refined highlight, creating a dynamic visual balance that enhances the perceived quality of the product.
The lock adopts a streamlined unibody structure that eliminates the segmented appearance commonly found in conventional door locks. Smooth edge transitions and gentle curves soften the metal form, giving the product a sculptural quality that blends seamlessly with contemporary home environments.
The external interface follows an extreme minimalist approach. The keypad, camera module, and sensing areas are carefully integrated into the panel layout, maintaining visual clarity while ensuring intuitive usability. Hidden digital keys illuminate only when activated, preserving the clean surface while offering clear guidance during operation.
The interaction system is designed around intuitive operation and human-centered ergonomics. The concealed keypad reduces accidental touches while maintaining visual simplicity. Once activated, the illuminated interface provides clear guidance even in low-light conditions.
Inside the home, the door handle features a curved ergonomic design that naturally fits the palm, ensuring comfortable use for users of all ages. A built-in emergency rotary knob provides an additional layer of safety, allowing quick manual unlocking when necessary.
The integrated high-definition camera further enhances security by allowing residents to monitor activities outside the door without additional equipment, forming a comprehensive safety system that balances convenience and protection.
