Mon2fri Office

This project consisted on the old building of a former clothes factory, located on the 5th floor of a 1998 building in the center of WenZhou which is a modern and prosperous city now day in China.

This office is built for a new fashion brand Mon2fri, so there is a group of young people work together in there . Therefore we didn’t use a general way to layout the office as like horizontal and vertical of the master-plan. We set up a new concept that called "cruise through" which try to release the space, let it become more freedom, more winding, so you have to follow the different individual curve space or tube passageway that links two areas that can see the different scenes as we walk by.

The reception table has used by glass reinforced plastic to make a glossy gold apple sculpture set in a circle glass box with two arch entrances at two sides can bring a sense of modern art once you walk in from the big arch sliding door in the front of the main entrance, at the further there is a huge iron man toy in the lift lobby by the window is one of the collection by our client.

Curve meeting room designed in the middle of the whole office area, also is the first space to see when people walk in. It covered with natural Chinese ash wood surface material to make a warm feeling, another curve side used transparent glass. The abstract ceiling lamp hanging up in the middle can reflex the lighting to the corridor around and make different contract on different materials. Therefore the curve meeting room is like a main "island" located on the middle of the ocean that can gathering all the people all around.

A dark stainless steel passageway is linking the office area and leisure space , and LED light strips are guiding people through this transition space.
