The Arthur D. Little Asia office at One Raffles Place was designed as a contemporary workplace that reflects the firm’s strategic consultancy expertise while supporting a highly collaborative regional operation. As the Asia headquarters overseeing multiple markets, the office needed to accommodate confidential discussions, formal client engagements, and flexible internal collaboration within a compact floorplate.
The design strategy focused on spatial clarity, adaptability, and understated branding. A neutral base palette of white and light timber establishes a calm and professional environment, allowing Arthur D. Little’s corporate blue to be introduced selectively as a visual anchor. At the reception area, vertical architectural elements subtly abstract the firm’s initials, integrating branding into the spatial language rather than relying on overt signage.
Meeting spaces were carefully planned to support different scales and modes of work. A combination of small and mid-sized meeting rooms is positioned near the entrance for efficient client access, while a larger divisible meeting room incorporates an operable partition system. This allows the space to transform between formal presentations and smaller discussions while maintaining acoustic privacy and flexibility.
Informal collaboration areas, including the pantry and breakout spaces, are designed with a more relaxed spatial character to encourage spontaneous interaction. These zones provide an alternative work setting without disrupting focused work areas.
Overall, the project translates Arthur D. Little’s values of precision, adaptability, and global professionalism into a functional workplace that supports both intensive consultancy work and long-term operational flexibility.
