In the two-thousand-year saga of the Pearl River's flow, Panyu remains the most tender stroke in the story of Cantonese culture.
It is where the Maritime Silk Road began, where the Lingnan school of painting found its muse, and where, for generations of Cantonese, the most authentic morning tea still belongs. As the city's skyline reaches ever higher, Yuexiu Hongjingtai chooses to return to the riverbank, capturing the rare scenery of "Twin Bridges in Misty Rain" to restore for Guangzhou a sense of belonging—a sense of "roots."
Situated along the Pearl River's premier waterfront in Panyu, the project takes as its spiritual core an "elevated philosophy of liveliness," deeply integrating the warmth of Lingnan culture with the relaxed sensibility of modern living. From the structural essence of Lingnan in its architecture to the regional charm of Cantonese style in its interiors, from the textured weave of the intangible heritage fabric *Xiangyunsha* to the local motif of the arrowhead flower, we have sought to transcend the conventional boundaries of a sales center. Using design as a medium, we aspire to create an "inhabitable museum of Cantonese memory."
Here, space is no longer a sealed box, but an extension of home, a gathering place for neighbors, and a living vessel for culture. It is not a replica of tradition, but rather, through a contemporary language, it allows the Xiguan romance embedded in the memories of old Guangzhou to blossom into a more modern, more international expression. Enjoying the river view with a cup of morning tea is both a daily ritual and the city's most captivating glimpse of everyday life.
