Shine draws inspiration from the millennia-old culture of the Shu region, introducing ancient Shu elements into contemporary home design. Through a reworking of form, material, and structure, traditional references appear more naturally within the space while meeting everyday functional needs.
The design is derived from the Sun God Bird gold ornament at the Jinsha Site. The handle follows its rotating lines and is shaped into a smooth curved profile that fits comfortably in the hand, making opening and closing more intuitive. Decorative columns develop from wing-like forms, with layered arcs creating a clear rhythm and adding depth to the space. The tea room door combines the idea of yin and yang with simple lines, maintaining stable proportions and a clear opening structure, resulting in a more balanced overall state.
A metallic coating is applied across the structure, echoing the fine texture of gold while offering durability and ease of cleaning. Cabinet panels and art glass incorporate bird and wing motifs, which appear subtly under changing light, allowing decorative elements to remain consistent with the space without drawing excess attention.
Based on ancient Shu culture, it translates traditional elements into a contemporary context. The space feels more coordinated overall and maintains a consistent appearance.
