Geometry of Light redefines Lighting Design at its core: light no longer serves to illuminate space, but operates as a structural interface between acoustics, computation, and architecture. Within Weiwuying—the monumental home of Asia’s largest pipe organ—the project transforms light into the geometric extension of sound, converting the venue into a responsive resonant system.
The design integrates projection, linear lighting, architectural mapping, and DMX/ArtNet control infrastructures to translate Bach’s contrapuntal structures and the organ’s real-time airflow into zero-latency light-field matrices and spatial pathways of illumination. Through AI generative systems and Gaussian Splatting-based fluid computation, invisible sound waves are materialized as volumetric particle light, precisely mapped onto curved walls, architectural surfaces, and the organ’s mechanical body to form directional, rhythmic, and deeply spatial optical structures.
Here, light is no longer decorative entertainment—it becomes a narrative force and an architectural element equal to music, directly shaping perception and audience experience. More than a lighting scheme, Geometry of Light establishes a transferable methodology for immersive optical environments, setting a new international benchmark for Architectural, Event & Exhibition, and Innovative Lighting Design.
Light is no longer illumination—it is how sound exists in space.
