Huaji Ecology Restaurant

Huaji Ecology Restaurant is located to the southwest of “Nanjing Hexi Urban Eco Park”. Built by the lakeside, the restaurant consists of two circular buildings, which are concealed among trees and flowers.
By fully probing into the essence of original buildings, this design transforms enclosed glass window into an openable style, and creates a space featuring “bright sunlight and smooth air circulation”. Private rooms and scattered seats are set up around windows, dynamic lines are neatly sorted and the layout is reasonably arranged. These efforts not only meet functional demands, but also allow customers to enjoy natural landscape. In the zone of private rooms, ceramic colored tiles are selected, in an effort to consistently achieve secondary lighting, as well as zone division. Such design sheds light in areas without natural light, and thus gives rise to a dramatically lighting effect in space.
In terms of materials, things with attributes of life, such as ceramic tiles, old woods, rusted iron plate, cotton fabrics, ceramic doorplates, are selected. They take in light, air and water indoors, and evolve into the beauty of "traces". Furthermore, coupled with indoor plants, as well as trees, grass, and flowers in the garden, all these elements fully reveal the theme of "flower" and "trace".
