Women’s wear can be categorized according to ages or varying functional scenarios such as commuting, business, leisure, and others, all of which serve as the common ground and the foundation. Through this project, MEACHEAL intended to upgrade its brand values by creating a distinctive brand image, and to generate exclusive and differentiated memory points through the upgrading process.
"Her Strength" - the unique power of women, is the inspiration source that the design team recommended to MEACHEAL. Elasticity, flexibility and integration demonstrate modern women's power, and showcase their innate wisdom of balance. The design team took "Her Strength" as the theme of the store, and interpreted it via design languages.
The store merely occupies about 70 square meters, situated in a shopping mall and surrounded by similar shops. The spatial design had to ensure that the brand image was clearly conveyed and relevant messages could be accurately perceived by customers.
The designers upheld “the beauty of smallness”, while highlighting that details determine all. The design started from and ended with the belt installations, which were mechanically mounted with leather, rivets, and metal fasteners. The stiffness and softness reached a balance of mechanical aesthetics. The feelings of elasticity and flexibility were directly presented to perform the “strength”. In addition, the brand image of resilience, independence, diversity and integration were given full expression, from the forms and details of the space.
