Black Pearl

This project is located in Shanghai, China. The designer gets inspiration from different levels of gray and luster of "Black Pearl" and applies it to the design. Nowadays, the gender boundary has gradually blurred, and pearls are no longer just for women. Therefore, the designer also brings the concept of "Genderless" into this project.





The whole entrance wall is made of white Sintered Stone, which is simple but splendid. Due to the layout of this project is longer, we combine the living room with the dining room, which makes the activity space more spacious and satisfy the interactivity of visitors. The magnetic track lamp of the ceiling can be removed and installed in any position where you need, clean and bright enough.





Black pearl contains various overtones of green, blue, purple, and silver, making it mysterious and unique. The designer uses malachite green as the main color in the living room, with metal accessories, which has created a colorful and transparent atmosphere.





Next to the dining room, the designer skillfully designs an opening multi-functional space. When the client needs a private area, he can pull up the glass sliding door to become an independent study room. When there are guests, he can open completely to connect with the outside and combine into an open space.





Tahiti's black pearls are the most brilliant. The painting on the glass sliding door is inspired by Paul Gauguin, a post-impressionist painter who once lived in Tahiti. His works are rich in color, direct and bold in composition, and have the style and scale of murals.





Through reasonable arrangement, the designer has set up different storage in the master bedroom, which can meet the needs of the host and hostess at the same time.





A pearl is born through the life of the oyster. Its fine luster, and smooth texture, show the brilliance after the experience. Just as we have always insisted, we should conduct fundamental research and exploration on any project. In the process of design, all things should be built around people's true feelings, focusing on practicality and artistry.
