The designer expects to create a convenient and fun residence from the resident’s perspective, and create an interactive space for family members. Considering both functionality and aesthetics, a large area of windows are installed, which brings the outdoor scenery in, and maintains sufficient daylight and ventilation. In addition, a lot of storage and multifunctional space are planned. White and wooden colors and textures are adopted as foundation, embellishing with furniture of contrasting colors, providing children a colorful space for imagination.



Due to the increase in family members, the original one-storey house is extended to two storey, adding a study room and entertainment space. Stepping into the space, the vibrant mountain view comes to your eyes. In order to creating a space where the residents can enjoy the nature, large French windows are installed in the first and the second floor, which brings the beautiful scenery indoor, and introduces abundant natural light to maintain the brightness and ventilation of the space.



The designer keeps close communication with the proprietor and create most suitable space for every family member, including the dog, one of the members of the family. With the theme of creating a space with more family interaction and storage space, the first floor is transformed to open space, where residents can enjoy family times and it won’t be crowded even there are visitors. A storage space with sufficient cabinets are planned, allowing the proprietor collecting more memories of family and children showing their toys. The sun shines on the transparent partition and enriches the layers of the space with the change of light and shadow.
