Suzhou Dongwu Longfor Paradise Walk TOD Complex

The project is located at East Shihu Road Station of Suzhou Metro Line 2 and 4, covers commercial malls, five-star hotels and apartments, etc. Facing this 7-floors commercial complex, we gave three strategies with new ideas to meet the design challenge,'Born of Suzhou culture, creating a water city in the sky', 'Create a three-dimensional garden through Jiangnan garden culture', 'Create a transit-oriented development (TOD) model urban shopping experience through two subway lines'.

In the specific design, we created multidimensional experience with three ground floors: The connection between the subway and basement floor makes travel more convenient and introduces a large number of urban passengers, meanwhile makes a huge commercial profit. The ground floor is fully open to attract visitors from all sides. In order to introduce visitors into high-rise commercial areas, the vertical ladder will take the visitors from ground floor straight into fifth floor, the sky ground floor.

At the same time, we created terrace at higher floor and made them connect with sky ground floor, a shopping environment with upper and lower links, internal and external integration has been formed. Also, various space and pleasant external shopping environment are set through landscape and tour route. At last, special caterins and exquisite life are distributed in high area, creating a Suzhou style Tianjie combine with indoor and outdoor space.
