About The Entry

Early in the pandemic, Pinthouse determined it needed to pivot from draft beer sales to canning more of its beer, for to-go sales and distribution to retail. The main objective was to uniquely brand its core beers, while maintaining a consistent style and pattern to the core beer can lineup.

The four new core beer can designs Pinthouse focused on were its fan-favorite Training Bines IPA, award-winning Green Battles IPA, the popular island-inspired seasonal Island Kitty Tiki IPA, and its easy-to-drink and hard to put down Burro’s Breakfast Mexican Lager.

When it comes to brewing, Pinthouse is all about innovating the familiar. It combines simple, centuries-old ingredients with modern, industry-leading techniques to create a portfolio of beers that are both familiar and drinkable, yet unlike anything else in the market. Similarly, the designs for these core brands all repurpose and reimagine vintage artwork into a new light, bringing a fresh perspective to a timeless look.
