This izakaya restaurant combines the delicacy of French cuisine with Japanese cuisine. The name of the restaurant is “TOBU,” which means “fly” in Japanese. Through the concept of flight, the design offers a sense of expansion. The interior layout presents a dimmed atmosphere with a variety of colors. The layers of colors and lights evoke feelings of flying in the night sky, as if watching an aurora that glimmers from time to time, admiring the beauty of sunrise and sunset. The continuous journey of shadows and lights summons natural forces to flow indoors. The atmosphere changes with the time, while futuristic and contemporary styles are juxtaposed, composing a visual novelty.The perfect arrangement for a restaurant must fully convey the business image, while producing an atmosphere that appeals to the owners. It is essential to satisfy all five senses of the customers’ experience: a flavorful taste, mouthwatering aroma, aesthetic vision, peaceful sound, and dynamic texture.
