The Cairnhill

This project located at the mid-level of Tuen Wan, Hong Kong, embraced by the natural environment, Pi Concept Design team had created a speedy interior style with a sense of harmony at the Cairnhill. The house owner was a car racer; he has experienced numerous memorable races and claimed several awards. To welcome their new home with their children, they wanted to bring a car racing style but also give their kids a happy childhood living space. These creative combination ideas helping the design team to build a modern interior style with harmonious visual effects. The transformation of 966 square-feet, 4 bedroom spaces – which took seven month to complete – began with the old school Hong Kong hardwood floor that looked dreary and dated. To breathe new life into the home, the design team ripped out basically everything from floors to walls for a thorough facelift. The color tones of the new apartment are base on grey and black color, with a huge amount of white and white color materials, plus a little glossy material and steel, which form a lively atmosphere and fantastic visual experiences. One of the most eye-catching elements of this project is the lighting effect of this apartment, with all the light strip and streamlined furniture pattern to evoke a speedy and fluid flow. A wondrous mix of genuine solution and ravishing result certainly meets, exceeds the owner of the Cairnhill’s expectations.
