SUZHOU VILLAGE

SUZHOU VILLAGE is the first shopping village of THE BICESTER VILLAGE SHOPPING COLLECTION in China. It is located on the western shore of the Yangcheng Lake Peninsula in historic Suzhou. The architectural lighting design is aiming to enhance the shopping experience by highlighting the very unique architectural design from the Marco Polo times. Those typical Italian buildings are the main features to be emphasized by lighting to create a comfortable retail environment at night. With a designed combination of facade and landscape lighting, different lighting layers are created to offer an atmosphere where lights and shadows are both considered, as well as dynamic and stillness. With such warm, welcoming, and cozy lighting atmosphere, people from adjacent blocks and streets will be attracted and immersed in a very comfortable and pleasant shopping experience in the Italian style neighborhood.
