South Corner

This wood house with black roof tile and wood truss was build in 1920’s , at the very beginning, it was university professor’s dorm room , and become a café in late years .

A new house owner intend to make it transform into a handcraft shop , selling the southern country’s handicrafts like Mexico , Cambodia , South Africa and Morocco etc......

We fix the wood structure by steel, open the facade by glass, roast the floor to make it aged, paint the wall by hand . and use fabric texture to make this house like a southeast Asia space , to connect the South program and this Taiwanese wood house .

At last, the most important is that we do everything we can to make it looks like it original face.
