IN.BINHU is a high-end apartment complex located in the CBD near the Central Park of Binhu District. A “2.0 update” of past constructions, IN.BINHU was launched to suit the residential ideals of a new era by introducing prospective to the experienced, the novel to the classic. 168 m2 apartments and 129 m2 apartments are the most featured types in the complex. WWD is responsible for the interior design of these two apartment models.

WWD infused refined product concept with an unconventional artistic touch to create the spatial tonality and aesthetic value that are specific to the space of IN.BINHU. The design inherits the always inconspicuous and modest narrative of the WWD style. It not only expresses a way of living, but also leads a sort of urban aesthetics. Collecting delights from the everyday life and creating vivacity, order, poetry, and a long-lasting touch, the design seeks to build an artistic and sensitive living space.

Drawing inspiration from the nature, the designers use light, cooling morning breeze as the design concept behind the spatial situation. The right proportion of gray and cyan tones gives the space a light and comfortable feeling that remind of the mountains. “I hope that every person that lives in this home can feel the coolness brought by the cyan touch, and the extraordinary sentiment created by the intervention of space in ordinary life.” explains the chief designer Zhou Wei.

The living and dining rooms mix cyan, white, and gray in different layers to create a minimal and elegant look. Modern materials – soft finish, porcelain boards, and leather – generates a graceful contemporary feel. Artworks of avant-garde artists like Shen Qin and Qin Xiuping sparkle the room, silently introducing countless views and ideas to an aesthetics of peace, giving the space cultural and spiritual profoundness.

The design abandons extravagant decors and sophisticated skills. Instead, it seeks to create a prosper, warm feeling of an animated home with everyday objects. Creative sculpture of dried fruit and sun-dried flowers, among others, were carefully polished to create effortless romance and wholesomeness.
