Circle

This project is a show and sales center of residential area. We introduced the philosophical thought of Square Sky and Circle Earth in the oriental culture. The overall exterior wall is a square facing the sky while the interior space is a circle facing the earth, which conforms to the concept of Square Sky and Circle Earth. With application of the concept of Square Sky and Circle Earth, the designer extracted the two elements of square sky and circle earth and applied them into architecture and interior design by a modern design approach. In the shape of square facing the sky, the overall building displays a beauty of square, while in shape of a circle facing the earth, the interior shows the beauty and softness, which make the overall architecture forming a perfect combination of stiffness and softness.

Circle

40 types of circles in different sizes are applied to form the overall interior space layout. The sand table in the center of the building is the biggest circle in the whole building. Starting from the center circle, there scatters out circles in different sizes to complement the whole interior space, while forming a complete and dimensional space with other function area such as VIP meeting area.

The Waterfall of Light

A main light is set in the large circle in the center of the building, which flows down from the sky like a waterfall of light and becomes the visual center and luminous point of the whole building.

Glass Wall

Transparent wired glass is applied in the conical interior of steel structure, which forms a visual effect with a certain spatial boundary but very transparent.
