Rollerback Armchair

The design of this chair was influenced by De Stijl and the chairs of Gerrit Rietveld along with Timothy Hardman's intent to connect people more with their furniture. The goal of the design was to exclusively use geometric shapes while still maintaining an aesthetically and kinetically engaging chair. Mounting the rear cushions on rods allows the user to spin them freely and adjust themselves as they sit, creating a piece that engages with the user while they engage with it.
