Love Veggie

Bringing a Macau well known tradition veggie restaurant into 21st century, this new branch restaurant is designed to provoke the senses through a series of lotus form. From this inspiration, the design team converted lotus image to the materials, patterns and forms. What is more, by enhancing the details of the lotus, which is deeply related to the Buddhism, the design team have generated an extraordinary calm atmosphere of the restaurant. Laser cut metal lotus pattern and smooth blue upholstery create an organic, natural elegance. Evoking the experience of upholstery bring forth comfort, calm and serenity. The design team unified these spaces with a soft palette of blues, natural wood veneer and metalwork in soft gold tones that lends a European feel to the fit-out. The open ceiling above the seating lets the space extend, and a standout feature sculptural lighting is located in the heart of the dining experience. In the void area of the restaurant, the design team sought to incorporate three umbrella like feature above the booth seating.
