Zhongshan Huafa Mall

Zhongshan Huafa Mall is the first cultural and artistic commercial complex in Zhongshan built by Zhuhai Huafa Group Co. Ltd., it is located in the center of Shiqi District, Zhongshan, with a commercial volume of 69,000 square meters.

To blend with the natural ecological environment of the local mountains connecting with the sea, J&A creates a high sense of rhythm and order in a simple and elegant space by highlighting the changes in the layers of the rolling hills. The overall decorative design is simple and smooth. The floor, ceilings and curb plates are designed with rolling hills, allowing the overall space to be unobstructed, well-arranged and varied. The dynamic lines and creative designs make for the fine art of mountains and waters. Japanese artist MOTOKA WATANABE and American artist MIA PEARLMAN created the sculpture named Find Our Happiness and the hanging artwork named BRUSHSTROKE respectively for the project, which not only explores the symbiotic relationship between the city, art and living space, but creates a more humanistic and artistic shopping environment. Energy-saving measures and the full use of recyclable materials make the whole space more green and healthy. The minimalist but varied shopping environment, the perfect blending of commercial space with expressive arts, and the innovative design based on cultural inheritance make this project a new urban commercial landmark of nature and humanity, and invigorate the culturally advanced business district full of sense of history.
