Break and make is not the only path to creation. This home's spatial design is a beautiful example of "in constraints we find freedom".
Located in a sleepy, posh neighbourhood of New Delhi, the home was built almost 20 years ago. The existing build style was modern, a non-negotiable constraint which was con-temporised via elements such as furniture, furnishing, wall art and photography design. Home's design is deeply rooted in sustainability. Old window panels were up-cycled to create an entrance, retro-cane armchairs were blended into IKEA pieces and old mirrors turned into wall decor. A home-stay that kept it's soul as it got ready to open it's door to millennials.
