Zhengzhi Experimental School

The interior design concept of the second phase campus comes from Yihe. Yihe is the source of life of the city. Yihe culture also carries the development of the city and is an inspiring historical cornerstone.

Lbd Design wants to bring this spirit into this Experimental School and create an outdoor atmosphere in the indoor space. Designers get inspiration from the landscape and different buildings along the river, set up different "facades" in the interior space of the campus, and introduce the pattern on the ground into the shape of the river, combine with landscape and Indoor plants, which brings nature into the room, create an interior space with an outdoor atmosphere.

The sun shines into the room through the opening of the ceiling. Every color in the space is carefully selected and designed to keep the students' thinking active and focused, so as to study more happily and efficiently.

On the right side of the corridor is a stair seats prepared for campus activities, which not only provides a stage for students to show and speak, but also provides an environment for communication between students and teachers. It offer an encouragement for teachers and students to learn in a positive and eager way.

When the concept flows into the library area, the scenery on both sides of the river becomes a bookshelf carrying knowledge, and the quiet and peaceful space completely isolates the noise of the outside world.

Outside the library is a multi-functional corridor. The open space can transform different scenes, it provides possibilities for different scenes of students' life. The scenery brought by the windows on both sides is also refreshing. Standing in the corridor on the second floor, you can see the transparent atrium space, which makes people constantly have a new sense of experience from different perspectives.

The tea bar and discussion area in the corridor not only provides an environment for leisure, but also provides a venue for teaching activities, and is also suitable for students' group activities and discussions after school time.
