YuanXiangHu Waterfront Landscape lighting Project

Located in the core area of Jiading New Town, Shanghai, the project is dubbed Urban Living Room of Jiading. The lighting design takes advantage of a large body of water for reflections, creating rich levels of light and shadow as well as an elegant and leisurely setting. Under the premises of sufficient functional lighting on the road, shadows of trees and autumn leaves are projected on part of the ground to produce a sense of light and shadow immersion. The waterfront looks green with dyed floodlights, generating visual elevation effects of fresh colors, rich layers and multiple patterns, which contrast with the water shadows. On the winding fence walls, pattern lights are used to render an artistic effect of goldfish playing in the water and shimmering waves. In the children’s play area with mottled lights, fun ground lights light up as the kids move around, and the alternating water columns of the fountain also match the happy kids. In addition to the ordinary elegant light and shadows, state-of-the-art techniques are also used – lasers, beams, fog forests, etc., creating a boutique light and shadow show focusing on the lake-center island surrounded by lakeside night scenes. Adding impressive moments to the festive nights for Yuanxiang Lake, it will also be a new landmark for night tours in the area.
