In the architectural design from flat to local cultural inspiration in silk, traditional craft to hundreds of years history of the world cultural heritage, is based on the beijing-hangzhou grand canal, combining regional spirit and hangzhou iconic river, formed the iconic city visual focus, concise clever line, draw the outline of the civic square of reflection in the river like silk.
While inheriting the spirit and culture of the region, this civic square will redefine the space and temperament of this area as a new city landmark, becoming a new symbol of Linping and even Hangzhou, growing together with the city and serving the city.
The entire building accommodates four venues: conference center, exhibition center, activity center (small theater, library) and youth activity center. All functional Spaces are unified under a large roof composed of transparent glass and wooden structure.
