The rest of life time

"We'll be together for the rest of our lives" is what two people in love agree on in life. The two clients want to spend the rest of their lives together with each other. A quiet and comfortable place where the fragrance of wood and the tatami brings out the taste of nostalgia. The begonia glass is blurred with harmonious light and shadow, and in time, only the grain of oak remains clear, and only the round window still remembers the beautiful proposal of that night. In this project, the arrangement of old furniture brings back fond memories of daily life. The modern design balances the abruptness of time with calmness and gentleness. Inspired by Taiwanese traditional houses, the design team seeks out building materials from the 1960s and 1970s, using the two main themes of "retro" and "memory" to inject modern craftsmanship and innovative design to transform vintage building materials. In particular, the design team has recreated the atmosphere of an old-time family through the interplay of different materials and details on the cabinet. In this project, the design team finds the feeling of home in the timeline of retro and modern. Green Building Materials certified low formaldehyde materials and energy-saving LED lights are used in this project. Moreover, this case has the natural advantage of the 15th floor with good lighting and ventilation. Meanwhile, the terrazzo wall design uses modern collage techniques to produce low dust and to achieve the same effect as traditional methods. Finally, the freestanding cabinet is an object that can be taken away from the clients, allowing memories and traditions to be preserved and treasured in the box.
