Idyll Time

Taking inspiration from the Chinese said “Snatch a relief from life’s drudgery” as the scenario of the design. The designer created a perfect retirement house like a villa for a couple who are about to retire.

In this project , special emphasis of the design is placed on simple and fresh style. The design team uses warm colors and clean lines not only to represent family memories, but also to complement the relaxed and idyllic atmosphere.

In 28.9 square meters space, there are a living room with open dining room, a kitchen, a master bedroom, a dressing room, and a bathroom. The designer shaped smooth traffic flow and barrier-free area, in order to increase the functionality and to reduce safety concerns in this house. In addition, a planted wall on the balcony made the owner experience relaxing in lush green surroundings.

Finding suitable textures and materials to coordinate the colors for the space were a big challenge for the designers. According to the characteristics of colors and materials, through repeated selection, proofing and comparing. The designers created a unique white and green style through the colors. All elements selected by the designers are perfectly combined, which enhanced the integrity, consistency and beauty of the space.
