MANOR OF LIGHT

MANOR OF LIGHT, located in the Chaoqing area, Chaoyang District, Beijing, is a high-end residential project close to the city's CBD. The landscape design with the theme of "light" connects different image ceremonial spaces, so that different moments of every day and the four seasons can fully integrate into the community life - the flow of light and shadow, the change of color, coldness and warmth, brightness and dimness together create a rich experience and a vibrant scene atmosphere. Finally, the changes of nature and light and shadow narrow the distance between people and nature, and the connection and reuse of spaces help to explore the possibilities of the site itself and present a kind of life aesthetics extracted from the "force of time".
For a series of scenes such as the main axis of home returning, the design makes full use of light and shadow to create a "bright and prosperous" sense of ceremony. The functional landscape scene of the community takes "warm" care and humanistic care as the theme to fully reflect the participation of people and the endless possibilities of space. The "light convergence curtain" scene located at the entrance of the community integrates semi-transparent elements such as screens and grilles into the oversized gate building to bring rich daylight, create a scene of flowing light and shadow, and make the overall urban display surface appear grand and bright and light. When it comes to the scene of "sunbathing corridor" located on the guest-greeting axis, the designers creatively use the gradual color changing hot-melt glass material to simulate the changing color of sunset and morning glow to bring the warm feeling of sunbathing to the users, and the "tree shadow" and "water shadow" are fully projected on it to form a "vibrant oil painting with constantly changing scenes".
