The Peninsula Villa

This project is a penthouse duplex in《The Peninsula》 with "Italian lightweight luxury" as its core concept. It seamlessly integrates elegant aesthetics with practical functionality to create a high-quality living space with urban views and individual expression. The design emphasizes material refinement and spatial experience, utilizing a double-height structure, panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, and imported Italian furniture to construct a transparent, lightweight, and artistically infused aerial residence.

Design Innovation

The design innovation focuses on three key dimensions: spatial narrative quality, scene integration, and material expressiveness. The overall layout centers on the double-height living room, where the elevated structure and full-height glazing maximize natural light and city views, creating an open and transparent visual experience. The spiral staircase serves as the spatial focal point, inspired by the magical staircase from Harry Potter. It combines curved wood finishes with built-in bookshelves, infusing functionality with whimsy and artistic storytelling to achieve a subtle balance between practicality and fantasy.

Throughout the residence, imported Italian furniture is selected, emphasizing the delicate combination of velvet, solid wood, metal, and stone. Within the understated luxurious tone, a rich material hierarchy and sense of warmth are constructed, demonstrating the inherent tension and quality pursuit of the Italian lightweight luxury style.
