The project site features mountainous and hilly landforms, with a terrain that descends from south to north. The design staggers different functional modules to naturally dissolve a 15-meter elevation difference. By arranging various architectural volumes in a tiered composition, the project creates spatial richness and allows natural light to permeate the interior, establishing a stronger connection between visitors and the space. The use of white as the primary visual expression softens spatial boundaries, while intentional "blankness" introduces an additional layer of sensory experience for users.
The kindergarten design draws inspiration from the children's game "Stacking Blocks". A series of playful, interlocking "blocks" diverse spatial experiences. Architectural masses of varying heights are combined with outdoor activity spaces, generating interconnected yet independent units that encourage exploration and stimulate imagination and creativity. Indoor and outdoor environments are naturally integrated to maximize the introduction of landscape and daylight into the interior. Spaces are seamlessly connected, and multilayered platforms open up visual perspectives, allowing users to perceive the richness and depth of the spatial environment.
