The space was meticulously designed to offer a special experience befitting Baccarat’s timeless elegance and luxurious world, and to immerse visitors in that atmosphere. This project preserves the original design concept of B bar, established in 2003, while adding a fresh perspective, achieving a fusion of tradition and innovation. Design Concept: “Immersed in the World of Baccarat” 1. Infusing Passion into a Sophisticated Space through Symbolic ‘Red’ Throughout the space, Baccarat’s symbolic “red” is used as an accent color to express the maison’s refined aesthetic. The single red glass embedded within the “Baccarat Wall” — lined entirely with Baccarat crystal — as well as red sofas and other furnishings, create striking, passionate contrasts within the predominantly dark-toned interior. 2. Aesthetic Design that Captivates The space features Baccarat’s iconic “Tsarine” candelabra and crystal glassware, presented as “showcase design elements.” Two Baccarat chandeliers are positioned to remain visible from multiple points in the room. Some glass panels surrounding these fixtures incorporate one-way mirrors, creating an intentional visual contrast between the view from the entrance and that from within the bar. Through this meticulous design philosophy, guests are enveloped in the world of Baccarat the moment they step inside. 3. A Tapestry of History and Culture Within the dark, chic environment, the Baccarat logo and B bar metal signage provide an enduring sense of familiarity and comfort for returning guests, while new visitors can appreciate the brand’s pride and craftsmanship. Framed photographs of Baccarat’s manufactory in the village of Baccarat, France, as well as images of artisans and production scenes, are displayed throughout the space, honoring Baccarat’s rich history, culture, and craftsmanship.
