Kai Tak Sports Park is a 28-hectare transformation of Hong Kong’s former airport into a world-class destination for sport, culture, and community. Designed by Populous, the precinct features a 50,000-seat stadium, a 10,000-seat arena, and a 5,000-seat youth sports ground, integrated with retail, dining, wellness, and vibrant public spaces. Anchored by the shimmering “Pearl of the Orient” façade, the stadium incorporates innovative design features including a retractable roof, adaptable pitch, and one of the world’s largest demountable turf systems. Completed in 2025, the Sports Park is both a civic anchor and a global events hub.
