Grace Manor Clubhouse, Tianjin

The design delves deep into the essence of Oriental residential aesthetics, discarding the clichéd practice of mechanically piling up traditional elements. Instead, it extracts the literati scholars' ideal of "harmony between man and nature" and the spatial artistic conception cherished in the Song Dynasty. Meanwhile, it incorporates Tianjin’s unique regional characteristics as a convergence of canal culture and Shanghai-style culture, blending the elegant and restrained Oriental style with an inclusive modern aesthetic. This transforms the clubhouse from a mere aggregation of functional spaces into a spiritual sanctuary that embodies cultural sentiments and refined living.
