The Wuhai Pumped Storage Power Station Exhibition Hall takes “Treasured Energy, Circular Power” as its theme. It translates a massive underground energy project into a spatial narrative that visitors can enter and engage with.

Inspired by the closed loop mechanism of pumped storage, the ring serves as the core motif to build a circular spatial order. Ring shaped ceilings, curved walls, and a circulation path create a sense of flow. Visitors move through the space like water entering an energy system. They experience the rhythm of energy shifting from dispersion to concentration. The "Circular Power" installation at the end of the path acts as the visual focus. It draws from the shaft and runner of a turbine unit to symbolize this energy field.

Water acts as the pulse to set the pace of movement. Continuous flowing curves and progressive lighting give the space a gentle rhythm. The entrance features a blue door frame and a continuous light band to form an energy gate. This creates a sense of ceremony as visitors step into the narrative space. They naturally move from the lobby into the main exhibition area, passing through zones for strategy, science, and digital displays.

Smart communication relies on digital media to bring these concepts to life. The digital twin zone uses a curved screen and interactive consoles to display real time data on terrain, equipment status, and risk factors. Text, images, models, and physical equipment complement each other. This ensures that visitors from different backgrounds can find the right depth of information.

The underlying language of the space is defined by its materials and sustainability. White and silver gray tones represent clean energy and technological rationality. Black surfaces hint at the underground environment. Metal and high gloss materials are reserved for core installations to add visual depth. The hall itself is a green space.
