It is a contemporary residential project in Jinan, China, conceived as a modern interpretation of Haipai elegance rooted in Qilu cultural heritage. Inspired by the poetic imagery of Mount Tai and the classical verse “Gazing at the Mountain” by Du Fu, the project unfolds as a spatial journey that gradually transitions residents from urban grandeur to inward calm.
The masterplan integrates architecture, landscape, and shared amenities into a cohesive narrative structured around five experiential sequences: ceremonial arrival, immersive garden transition, artistic social spaces, contemplative courtyards, and tranquil retreat. The main entrance establishes a powerful civic presence through monumental scale, refined stone craftsmanship, and axial symmetry, while carefully curated trees and reflective water features introduce themes of time, continuity, and nature.
At the heart of the community, a 2,000-square-meter clubhouse and sunken garden are designed by CCD, drawing on the firm’s extensive experience in global luxury hospitality. Spaces such as private dining rooms, lounges, tea rooms, fitness and wellness areas are arranged around layered courtyards, allowing light, water, and greenery to permeate daily life. Materials including rare natural stone, metal, glass, and artisanal detailing are employed not as decoration, but as carriers of cultural memory and tactile quality.
A signature spiral staircase and sculptural installations articulate movement and ritual, echoing ancient philosophies of water, flow, and renewal. Landscape design further enhances the experience through seasonal planting, symmetrical compositions, and water features inspired by historic Persian and Chinese gardens, creating a serene yet dynamic environment.
Rather than pursuing overt luxury, it emphasizes restrained elegance, craftsmanship, and emotional resonance. The project redefines high-end residential living by blending cultural symbolism, contemporary design language, and carefully curated shared spaces—offering residents a refined, immersive environment where architecture, landscape, and lifestyle evolve together over time.
