One Bay Park is a private residence that translates international luxury hospitality design into a refined domestic experience, blending global vision with Eastern cultural depth. Rooted in the pursuit of balance, the project brings together art, technology, and humanistic values to create a living environment that is both composed and emotionally resonant.
The spatial experience begins with a “decompression” entry sequence. Rather than relying on overt decoration, the foyer adopts restrained elegance and warm intelligent systems to gently transition residents from the city’s intensity into a calm, inward state. Storage systems are meticulously integrated, while carefully reserved display areas allow art to breathe within the architecture.
The living room rejects the conventional sofa–television axis in favor of a more conversational layout. An Italian curved sofa anchors the space, encouraging interaction and fluid movement. Furniture selections juxtapose time and typology: vintage armchairs sit alongside transparent contemporary pieces, forming a dialogue between past and future. A handcrafted liquid-metal feature wall subtly references the tidal rhythms of Shenzhen Bay, its flowing texture animated by shifting light.
At the heart of the home, the dining area centers on a circular table, symbolizing inclusiveness and gathering. The island functions as both a social and functional core, topped with violet-hued stone and anchored by a rare, translucent acrylic art piece inspired by ocean tides—one of only two in existence worldwide. Material choices and detailing emphasize craftsmanship and the ritual of everyday life.
Private spaces are conceived as retreats. The master bedroom focuses on tactile comfort and acoustic calm, using layered textiles and custom wood finishes to create a restorative atmosphere. The ensuite bathroom and wardrobe system prioritize clarity, privacy, and efficiency, supporting a composed daily rhythm.
Throughout One Bay Park, spatial narratives echo the coastal context while maintaining a timeless, human-centered sensibility—offering a home where international aesthetics, artistic expression, and lived warmth converge.
