FENGQI YUEMING redefines vertical living in terraced villas with the innovative “fifth level” and achieves a perfect balance between height and comfort. The top-floor private terrace offers sweeping views of the mountains and water, while the ground-level courtyard seamlessly integrates the landscape. Staggered middle levels ensure every unit enjoys both sky and earth. This is not just a minor design innovation but a thoughtful, layered response to the concept of secluded living. The five levels of the villa strike a perfect balance—not too many, not too few—enclosing the mountains and water while offering space for a heart that seeks calm. The open living and dining area, free of beams, eliminates the traditional divisions of space, while the pure, pure-flat façade draws the landscape in. This design ensures unobstructed views, uninterrupted light, and a seamless flow of movement. When the living room and courtyard are divided only by a transparent glass door, the interior naturally extends into the outdoors, bringing the mountain shadows, water light, and sky into daily life. In this space, life and nature blend effortlessly, boundaries dissolve, and the mind feels liberated. Faced with the spatial challenges of the staggered terrace, we embraced a “pure flat aesthetic” in our design. Transparent glass and delicate aluminum panels are interwoven, with horizontal lines outlining the building’s expansive, yet restrained, contemporary essence. The large glass surfaces offer sweeping views of the mountains, water, and sky, and blend nature seamlessly into the living experience. The dominant warm coffee-colored aluminum is accented with deep coffee tones, and as light shifts, the materials reveal a rich, textured beauty conveys a serene Eastern sensibility.
