Guided by the concept of "capturing the essence of Eastern aesthetics as the framework, while channeling French romance as the spirit," the project seamlessly integrates Beijing's profound historical and cultural heritage with the spirit of the modern metropolis. The entryway draws inspiration from "Chinese etiquette," featuring the auspicious cloud motif and swastika pattern—both symbols of imperial authority—alongside the "nine-by-nine door nails," the highest standard reserved for Qing dynasty imperial architecture. These traditional elements are reimagined through contemporary materials, creating a solemn and distinctive ritual experience of returning home.
Within the interior, the delicate textures of traditional embroidery echo the spirit of Eastern culture, while the natural order of Western garden greenery introduces a sense of lightness and breathability. Together, they make culture and nature, history and the future, intertwine in harmonious coexistence.
