About The Entry
Qinglang Valley Banquet Hall is rooted in the traditional Chinese concept of “Yuan” (meaning affinity, connection, and destiny), drawing inspiration from the cultural heritage of the Jinshiyuan brand. By integrating Eastern aesthetics, contemporary art, and modern commercial interior design, the project creates a premium venue that seamlessly combines cultural expression, business hospitality, and meaningful social interaction.
Centered on the theme “Tracing the Origin of Affinity”, the design unfolds through four key dimensions: nature, light, art, and humanity. Inspired by the inclusiveness and fluidity of water, the design translates natural qualities into spatial language through refined material textures, flowing forms, and layered lighting compositions. The interplay of natural and artificial light shapes a dynamic spatial rhythm, creating an immersive environment that balances ceremonial elegance with comfort while evoking rich emotional experiences throughout the journey.
At the cultural level, the project deeply explores Jinshiyuan’s philosophy that “Great achievements are made possible through meaningful connections.” The concept of Yuan—symbolizing human connection, emotional resonance, and the spirit of Eastern hospitality—is woven into every aspect of the spatial experience. The brand’s signature Guoyuan Red serves as the primary visual motif, reinterpreted through reduced saturation, sophisticated material applications, and contemporary artistic expression, giving a traditional cultural symbol a more refined and internationally relevant identity.
The venue incorporates VIP dining suites, grand banquet rooms, and specialty dining spaces, offering flexible environments for business receptions, family gatherings, and high-end social events. Art installations, custom furnishings, metallic accents, and meticulously designed lighting systems work together to create a memorable and elevated experience, achieving a harmonious balance between cultural significance and commercial functionality.
More than a banquet venue, Tracing the Origin of Affinity serves as a bridge connecting brand identity, cultural heritage, and human emotion. Through a contemporary design language, the project reinterprets traditional Chinese culture and presents an innovative model for modern hospitality spaces—one that combines cultural depth, aesthetic sophistication, and commercial vitality.
