About The Entry
This scheme aims to create a composite aesthetic space that blends French romance, medieval charm, and Oriental Zen serenity. It is not confined to a single style; instead, it takes "gentleness" as its core, allowing the texture of time-honored patina, the charm of cultural heritage, and the comfort of modern living to coexist harmoniously. Every line in the space is an expression of aesthetics, every material is a language of time, and every corner embodies a yearning for a beautiful life—ultimately realizing an ideal home that is livable, appreciable, and deeply felt.
The design centers on the fusion of three aesthetics: light French style, medieval style, and new Chinese style. It adheres to the design philosophy of “eliminating excess while retaining essence, conveying spirit through charm.” By discarding the heaviness and ornateness of traditional styles, the scheme uses a creamy color palette as its gentle foundation, extracting the elegant lines of French style, the warm textures of medieval aesthetics, and the cultural refinement of new Chinese style to create an ideal residence that combines retro ambiance, Oriental Zen, and contemporary comfort. The space is not merely a superposition of styles, but a vessel for time and life, achieving a living ambiance that is “elegant yet effortless, vintage yet timeless.”
The design employs classic French arched openings as spatial dividers, replacing rigid walls to clearly define zones while maintaining visual transparency. The soft curved lines flow like Oriental ink wash painting, outlining the grace and inclusiveness of the space and interpreting the Eastern philosophy of “round heaven and square earth.”
In terms of color and materials, milky white and beige matte walls serve as the base tone, paired with soft-light tiles or light wood-grain flooring to establish a gentle and healing atmosphere. The core furniture and cabinetry are crafted from walnut or deep brown solid wood, continuing the sense of historical depth characteristic of medieval style. The warm wood grain creates a cool-warm contrast with the creamy base, infusing the space with temperature and substance.
