Zhongning Mansion 248㎡ High-End Residence

This project is a 248㎡ high-end refined residence in Zhongning Mansion, Nanjing, completed in December 2025 for a discerning high-end business family seeking private luxury and refined leisure. The original space suffered from an unbalanced layout, underutilized natural light, and a generic delivery style that failed to meet the owners’ dual demands for oriental elegance and modern practicality. They wanted a home that felt both sophisticated and deeply personal, a sanctuary that balanced social spaces with quiet retreats.

To address these challenges, the design adopts an Italian light luxury language softened by delicate French lines, redefining the home’s spatial narrative. By integrating north and south balconies into the living and dining areas, we created an open, flowing layout that amplifies natural light and visual continuity. We carved out distinct private zones: a sophisticated cigar lounge, a tranquil tea-tasting corner, and hidden functional spaces including a concealed laundry area and ample custom storage. Every zone is tailored to support the family’s daily rituals and social gatherings.

The material palette balances reflective metal accents, natural marble textures, and soft neutral tones, layered with custom ambient lighting and oriental-inspired decor details to infuse warmth and personality. The living room’s curved sofa and marble TV wall echo the refined curves of the entrance console, while bedrooms feature soft padded headboards and herringbone flooring for a serene, hotel-like retreat.

This design balances aesthetic refinement and functional pragmatism, creating a bespoke home that reflects the owners’ lifestyle while merging contemporary luxury with subtle oriental cultural undertones. It delivers a sophisticated, layered living experience that honors both comfort and personal taste, proving that true high-end living lies in the harmony between form, function, and daily life needs.
