About The Entry
Guided by the narrative of “one city, one story, one memory,” this project captures the essence of Jinan as the City of Springs and brings it to life as an engaging commercial destination. Drawing from the timeless imagery of “lotuses on four sides, willows on three, with mountain hues and a lake embracing half the city,” the design steps beyond the boundaries of traditional commercial space. By weaving Jinan’s unique landscape elegance into a modern commercial setting, the project becomes an immersive destination that both honors the city’s memory and embraces contemporary life.
Positioned as a go-to destination for quality, trend-driven living, the space caters to local families, urban trendsetters, and business professionals. With a carefully curated mix of diverse offerings and immersive environments, the new Intime Living Space is built on exclusive experiences, cultural buzz, and a strong sense of community. It’s a space where people from all walks of life can find a lifestyle that suits them, along with a genuine sense of connection.
Reaching back to Jinan’s Dawenkou heritage, the design draws on the five-petal flower and copper coin patterns from ancient red pottery vessels, turning them into recurring motifs throughout the space. These deeply local symbols are deconstructed and reimagined through a modern lens, becoming a fluid visual language that runs through the interior. In doing so, the design creates a meaningful dialogue between cultural heritage and contemporary commercial value.
The project introduces an innovative “park + complex” concept. Its four themed zones unfold like a layered urban garden journey—from “Appreciating the Spring Dance,” a lively hub for art and performances, to the “Ripple Boardwalk,” where gentle spring-like curves invite a leisurely, artful stroll. Next, the “Leisure Willow Garden” offers a social retreat infused with the character of Jinan’s courtyards. The journey ends at “Seeking Flavors in the Red Lane,” a vibrant destination blending street food energy with modern dining. These four zones flow naturally, weaving the spirit of Jinan seamlessly throughout the entire space.
