Spatial Narrative & Concept

This multi-story corporate headquarters renovation addresses a challenging, elongated rectangular layout through a fluid and high-efficiency spatial arrangement. Inspired by the client’s cross-shaped faith symbol and the continuous mountain ridges visible through the windows, the design establishes a core narrative around the origin of energy to connect the interior spiritual essence with the natural environment. Saturated color blocks and volumetric geometries create distinct focal points alongside a theatrical lighting scheme. Several symbolic elements define the space, including a ship-like structure navigating the layout, a sleek refreshment bar, a partial golden ceiling evoking a sun-drenched peak, and a rose-red geometric reception area at the entrance. Through a precise orchestration of points, lines, and planes, the design achieves deep, transparent vistas and a dynamic, sci-fi aesthetic with highly optimized spatial distribution.

Architectural Execution & Materiality

Capitalizing on a generous ceiling height exceeding five meters, the design utilizes a blackened exposed ceiling to allow custom hardware and structural elements to expand dynamically. The sensory impact is enhanced by non-directional linear lighting, multi-media projections, silhouette techniques, and responsive backdrop effects. Rooted in sustainability and energy efficiency, the material selection balances aesthetic presence with practical maintenance. Anti-slip metal plates interlock with grey square tiles across the expansive flooring, while vertical surfaces feature a calculated composition of textured coatings, architectural panels, mirrors, and glass to create a unique, immersive commercial experience defined by the contrast of solid and void.
