Chanson Élégance is a contemporary private residence that celebrates the quiet beauty of everyday living. Inspired by the timeless spirit of French living rather than its decorative expression, the project explores how architecture can enrich daily rituals through light, nature, and carefully choreographed spatial experiences.

Spanning 930 square metres across five levels—three above ground and two below—the residence is designed as a continuous journey where movement, landscape, and natural light are seamlessly interconnected. At the heart of the home, a sculptural spiral staircase becomes more than vertical circulation; it serves as the architectural anchor that unifies the residence while guiding changing perspectives and moments of discovery throughout the day.

One of the defining design strategies is the introduction of natural light into every level of the home. Through a carefully integrated system of skylights, landscaped courtyards, and generous openings, daylight is drawn deep into the two lower-ground floors, transforming spaces that are traditionally enclosed into bright, welcoming environments for family life, creativity, wellness, and social interaction.

Rather than viewing each room as an independent function, the residence is conceived as a collection of everyday rituals. Spaces dedicated to floral artistry, art appreciation, wine tasting, tea gatherings, wellness, and family interaction are woven into a cohesive living experience, allowing each activity to unfold naturally while maintaining visual continuity throughout the home.
