About The Entry

Crystal Tower is a 160-metre, 34-storey Grade A boutique office tower rising from the former Crystal Industrial Building in the heart of Kwun Tong. With a total Gross Floor Area of 19,800 sq.m. on a compact 1,280 sq.m. site, the project transforms an underutilised industrial plot into a sophisticated landmark that actively contributes to the “Energizing Kowloon East” initiative.

Strategically set back 3.9 metres from Chong Yip Street and 3.8 metres from How Ming Street, the tower creates generous pedestrian-friendly urban spaces and a clear visual corridor. Vertical greenery and sculptural canopies further enhance the street-level experience, redefining the relationship between the building and the public realm.

The architectural narrative draws inspiration from the client’s heritage as a global leader in the apparel industry. The design translates the fluidity and rhythm of textiles into a dynamic architectural language. The building’s massing is articulated as three distinct, tapering volumes that rise from a solid base to a slender crown, symbolising both stability and future growth. This textile-inspired concept is expressed through a refined curtain wall system and delicate fringe-like detailing along the edges, creating a façade that appears to move with light and shadow.

The arrival sequence is designed as a memorable spatial journey. A grand 7-metre-high entrance lobby with a sweeping curved glass façade welcomes visitors, leading to escalators that traverse a dramatic 15-metre-high atrium before arriving at a lift lobby with over 5.5 metres of ceiling height.

Internally, the tower offers three different floor plate sizes to accommodate diverse tenants, all featuring high-quality finishes, raised flooring, and proprietary ceiling systems. Most floors include private flat roofs for communal use, complemented by a podium garden, sky garden, and roof garden. These thoughtfully landscaped spaces foster interaction and well-being, setting a new benchmark for boutique commercial developments in Hong Kong.

Crystal Tower elegantly fuses the client’s textile legacy with contemporary urban needs, creating a refined, sustainable, and socially engaging landmark for Kwun Tong.
