About The Entry
The building facade of Foshan Chengfa Center is composed of eight intersecting cutting surfaces. We present the cutting surfaces of the building in light and shade, transition, strength, interlacing, contrast, gradual change and other modes through light and shadow. While showing the lighting, we can emphasize the characteristics of the cutting surface of the building, integrate the lighting with the building, highlight the impression of the building itself, and let the lighting become a supporting role of the building.
In lighting design, we use line outline lights and projection lights, and use precise light distribution and light control technology to control the light on the side of decorative strips, highlighting the layering and three-dimensional sense of the cutting surface of buildings at night. Using light and shadow to endow buildings with landmark influence beyond themselves has become an indispensable symbolic existence in urban night scenes.
The indoor lighting is based on the design theme of the flower of Foshan City - the plum blossom. The light lines replicate the unfolding posture of the petals. The lighting follows the direction of the interior architectural interfaces and integrates with the ceiling, walls, and structure. We did not use direct lighting fixtures in the entire space. Through indirect reflection and lines, linear light sources are used to outline the spatial contours. The lighting extends along the interior structure. The indoor lighting strictly follows the principle of prioritizing functions, precisely meeting the illumination requirements for all scenarios such as passage, reception, and rest in the lobby. While ensuring clear vision and spatial security, it maintains the simple and elegant temperament of the space, making brightness, comfort, and practicality the base color of the indoor lighting environment.
