About The Entry

This mixed-use building brings together retail and human connection. Inspired by the idea of “returning to oneself,” the design reconnects people with light, wind, and greenery through daily movement and experience. Raw concrete, earth walls, and large openings soften the boundary between inside and outside, creating a calm place for rest and reflection.

In many cities today, spaces are shaped mainly by function and efficiency, gradually losing their connection with nature and human feeling. This project explores how architecture can respond to both body and mind. Beyond being a commercial space, it was designed as a place where people can stay longer, step away from daily pressure, and return to a calmer state within themselves. The building is treated as a living environment, bringing together architecture, landscape, and interior as one whole. Earth walls, wood, and stone create a quiet connection to the land, while natural light, wind, seasonal greenery, and visiting birds allow the space to change gently over time, restoring a softer relationship between people, nature, and space.

This project is shaped around the experience of walking, turning still spaces into places of changing perception. Through an S-shaped path, split-level platforms, and open circulation, visitors experience shifting light, wind, and landscape while moving through the space. Rather than focusing on a single viewpoint, the design allows movement itself to become the main experience, gently guiding people from outward activity toward a quieter inner awareness. Planting and outdoor ecology are brought into the building, allowing nature to take part in the life of the space. More than a functional structure, the building becomes a living environment where staying, walking, and sensing unfold together. It also offers the city a quiet landmark where people and nature can exist side by side.
