About The Entry

The Sahara Starry Vault represents a bespoke elevator interior developed by XIOLIFT. Traditional Middle Eastern architecture provides the foundational reference, where arches, Islamic geometric motifs, and dome profiles establish the core visual language. The incorporation of these elements converts a standard transit compartment into an environment with a defined cultural identity. Commercial towers and cultural tourism destinations constitute the primary application fields. The system delivers a complete spatial finish, a provision that ensures standard vertical transportation functions remain fully satisfied. Conventional cabs typically depend on uninterrupted sheets of metal or glass. This installation replaces that uniform scheme with a stratified material assembly. A curated composition of decorative plaster cladding, laser-cut wood veneer, wired art glass, and marble establishes distinct horizontal layers. The lighting arrangement abandons traditional central fixtures in favor of integrated light-guide panels and localized linear sources. Diffuse reflection distributes illumination evenly across the enclosure. The integration of material stratification and calibrated lighting control generates pronounced visual depth, a methodology that presents a viable alternative to the industry’s reliance on standardized templates. The cabin layout adheres to a principle of central symmetry, with spatial divisions progressing upward along a vertical axis. Vertical marble strips and metallic trims establish the entrance boundary, a configuration that naturally guides the observer’s gaze inward. The primary facade reproduces the contour of a Middle Eastern arch, an architectural form that integrates seamlessly with openwork wood panels and concealed LED strips. Extensive mirror surfaces and segmented decorative glass occupy the side walls, an arrangement that elongates the vertical proportions. The ceiling assumes a dome configuration that receives a gradient decorative finish, while the floor features radially inlaid mother-of-pearl marble. The overall treatment captures the symmetrical geometry and vaulted characteristics that define Islamic architectural tradition, a synthesis that establishes a stable visual anchor within the space. Visual design follows practical riding requirements. Light guide panels produce consistent diffuse illumination. This setup prevents harsh glare during cabin movement. Wood veneers and textured paints maintain natural surface finishes. Passengers experience a warm touch against the walls. Concealed light sources provide general illumination and safety markers.
