About The Entry

This packaging series finds its cultural anchor in the Phoenix-Headed Ewer—a representative artifact unearthed from Tang Dynasty Hongzhou Kiln. The bottle inherits the silhouette of the Phoenix-Headed Ewer from Hongzhou Kiln: a symmetrical design of double phoenix heads with an upright posture symbolizes harmony and fulfillment; a majestic dragon-headed handle on the side exudes an aura of nobility; a lotus-flower relief on the base replicates the signature ornamentation of Hongzhou Kiln ware, representing integrity and purity. On the shoulder, intertwining branches signify inseparable union and symbiotic prosperity, echoing the theme of auspiciousness.

Using the Hongzhou Kiln artifact as a canvas and glaze color as a timeline, the series showcases the ceramic aesthetics of three dynasties—Yuan, Ming, and Qing—creating a “tangible chronicle of ceramic art.” The outer box and the inner bottle share a cohesive color palette and element design, visually establishing an “outer-to-inner” cultural connection. For the Yuan Dynasty (Longquan Kiln Celadon) version, the bottle adopts a gentle, jade-like celadon glaze paired with ice-crackle lines, exuding natural beauty; the outer box features a bluish-green tone, decorated with lotus flowers (derived from traditional Hongzhou Kiln ware), representing purity and integrity. For the Ming Dynasty (Jun Kiln Jun Red) version, the bottle ingeniously fuses red, blue, and purple across its body to resemble flowing clouds, glowing like a radiant sunset; the outer box is presented in a true red tone and embellished with intertwined branches, fostering a festive, luxurious atmosphere. For the Qing Dynasty (Imperial Kiln Sprinkled Blue) version, the bottle boasts naturally distributed mottled-blue flecks, projecting the cultural depth and collectible value of an imperial artifact; the outer box employs a deep blue tone, adorned with symmetrical persimmon calyxes, conveying the meaning of completeness, auspiciousness, and stability. In addition, all outer boxes incorporate a Chinese-style label on the front, complemented by a golden belly band, further elevating the overall premium feel.
