Located in Lishui District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, this project is adjacent to Wuxiang Mountain National Forest Park with abundant natural surroundings. Spanning a total land area of 93,518 square meters, it consists of 43 villas and 4 high-rise residential buildings. With a building coverage ratio of no more than 35% and a green space ratio of no less than 30%, the community offers highly comfortable living conditions.

The development features main entrances for comprehensive property management on its south, north and east sides. The south gate serves as the primary landmark entrance designed along a central symmetrical axis. Standing 9 meters tall and stretching 35 meters wide, it integrates pedestrian access, vehicle entry and fire service routes all in one structure, while fully embodying the project’s market positioning and cultural identity.

Key challenges to be addressed in the landscape design: First, the 3-meter elevation difference between the interior and exterior of the main gate exerts an impact on landscape scene creation, and the organization of resident circulation routes. Second, the visual coordination between the 5.5-meter height drop of the sunken courtyard and the surrounding buildings. Spatial combinations of vegetation and covered corridors create a rhythmic sequence of landscape views with distinct introductory, transitional, climactic and concluding phases. This delivers an immersive garden experience where a new vista unfolds at every turn, achieving the artistic effect of magnified space within a compact site.

At the central axis core landscape zone, integrated facilities including water features and mist cooling systems alongside covered corridors work together to lower the perceived temperature by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius in summer.
